Role: Middle COBOL Developer
Location: Liscate (MI), hybrid work model
Job Responsibilities:
As a Middle COBOL Developer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing legacy COBOL applications, ensuring that they meet functional requirements and are stable and efficient. Specific duties include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications to keep them functional and optimized.
- Analyzing and optimizing code for performance improvements, ensuring long-term maintainability.
- Using SQL to manage database interactions, perform queries, and maintain data integrity within COBOL applications.
- Providing technical support for COBOL applications in production, troubleshooting and resolving bugs quickly.
- Documenting code and changes for future reference and collaborating with team members to ensure integration with other systems and components.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in COBOL application development and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SQL for working with relational databases.
- English proficiency is a plus.
