Role: Middle COBOL Developer

Location: Liscate (MI), hybrid work model

Job Responsibilities:

As a Middle COBOL Developer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing legacy COBOL applications, ensuring that they meet functional requirements and are stable and efficient. Specific duties include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications to keep them functional and optimized.
• Analyzing and optimizing code for performance improvements, ensuring long-term maintainability.
• Using SQL to manage database interactions, perform queries, and maintain data integrity within COBOL applications.
• Providing technical support for COBOL applications in production, troubleshooting and resolving bugs quickly.
• Documenting code and changes for future reference and collaborating with team members to ensure integration with other systems and components.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in COBOL application development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in SQL for working with relational databases.
• English proficiency is a plus.
